Dependent Coverage

Dependent Coverage Under Your State of Delaware Plans

Coverage for your dependents under the State of Delaware Plans varies depending on the type of plan:

• For medical coverage, your dependents are covered up to age 26.
• You may elect coverage for your dependents with the State Group Life Insurance Plan.

Dependent Coverage Under Your School District Plans

Dependents are eligible for Dental and Vision coverage through December 31st of the year age 21 is reached and whichever occurs first for full time students: loss of student status, graduation or attains age 24.

Dependents are eligible for District Supplemental Prescription coverage through age 26, regardless of student status.
