At Brandywine School District, we offer a comprehensive and flexible benefits program designed to meet the changing needs of our employees and their families. 

Here, you’ll find everything you need to know about your benefits from Brandywine School District and the State of Delaware, including how to enroll, what your choices are, and how to find forms and links to our vendor websites.

New Employees are required to complete and return the Benefit Enrollment Packet and necessary forms no later than 30 days from hire date. Eligible employees who fail to submit these documents within the 30-day period may not join until the next open enrollment period. (See State Eligibility Guidelines)

Employees who cover their spouse on the State health plan must complete a Spousal Coordination of Benefits (SCOB) Form upon initial enrollment, each year at open enrollment and any time there is a change in spouse’s employment status. Failure to submit the Spousal Coordination of Benefits Form could result in reduced spousal benefits. (See State Eligibility Guidelines)
