Introduction

Your District Open Enrollment Bulletin (pdf)

Open Enrollment for your School District and State of Delaware benefits will be held from Monday, May 7 through 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. During Open Enrollment, you must review, enroll in, or make changes to your benefit coverages under the following plans:

School District Benefits State of Delaware Benefits
  • Dental Coverage
  • Vision Care Coverage
  • Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance
  • Medical Coverage (includes Prescription Drug Coverage)
  • Supplemental Benefits

The elections you make under the School District and State plans are effective July 1 through June 30.

Enrollment for the flexible spending accounts offered by the State of Delaware will be held later this year. The election you make at that time will be effective January 1 through December 31.

You may enroll in or make changes to the State's Group Life Insurance Plan at any time during the year by calling Securian Financial Group, Inc directly at 877/215-1489. You may be required to submit evidence of insurability when you enroll.

Online enrollment is available again this year. GYou can use the enrollment tool to make changes to any or all of your benefits options and/or your dependent information.
