Eligibility
Benefit eligible employees of Red Clay School District
Red Clay School District Basic Life and AD&D
One and one half times annual salary, rounded to the next higher $500. Minimum benefit is $5,000 and maximum benefit is $250,000.

Contribution Requirements
Benefits funded by school district stipend. In the event the premium due for this coverage exceeds the stipend, you may be responsible to contribute the difference.
Benefit Reductions Due to Age
Age | Reduces to |
---|---|
65 | One times annual salary rounded to next higher $500 |
70 | One-half times annual salary, rounded to the next higher $500 |
75+ | $5,000 |
Exclusions/Limitations
Coverage may be continued under the Military Services Leave provision of the Policy for twelve weeks if you go on active duty in the military. However, you will not be covered for a loss that is caused by or arises from such military service, including but not limited to war or act of war (whether declared or undeclared).
