Your good health – and ability to work – are two things that should not be taken for granted. The School District’s Long-Term Disability (LTD) Plan protects you and your family from financial hardship should an illness or injury prevent you from working for an extended period of time. Through this plan, you are provided with a basic level of monthly benefits after you have been totally disabled for a certain length of time.<\/p>\n
There are three types of disability:<\/p>\n
Total Disability exists when, due to an illness or accidental injury:<\/strong><\/p>\n Successive Disability exists when, due to an illness or accidental injury:<\/strong><\/p>\n Partial Disability exists when:<\/strong><\/p>\n LTD benefits will be paid up to age 70 if you are age 69 or younger and on an approved disability.
