You will be asked to pay for coverage in monthly installments, and you must make your first payment no later than 45 days after the date you elected continued coverage. Subsequent payments will be due on the first of each month, with a 30-day grace period. If the cost of benefits changes in the future for active employees, these changes will also affect continued coverage under COBRA.
